Your special moments matter to me.
Hi, I’m Micaela, a Wedding, Lifestyle, and Portrait Photographer
I was born & raised in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. There I found & married my highschool sweetheart, Jacob. Together we have three precious boys - Tate, Nash & Huck . I am 100% obsessed with my little family & the life we share together. One of the reasons I love what I do is getting to capture you & the ones you love in the most authentic way possible. Whenever I’m not documenting you & your loved ones - you can find me traveling, junkin’ or running around barefoot in the yard with my boys.
Gimme all the chips, salsa & margaritas.
Top Gun, Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes, & The Green Mile
I LOVE EVERYTHING. From Fleetwood Mac, Elevation Worship to Tyler Childers & 90’s Country.
I thrive on Espresso's & homemade Latte's. Always down for a whiskey sour too.
St. Lucia & The Amalfi Coast
Traveling & Junkin’ with my hubby.

“Working with Micaela to capture our special day can be summarized as: SIMPLY OUTSTANDING, AMAZING, THE BEST!!! She exceeded every single expectation we had for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Her and her assistant were nothing short of completely stellar and had such a calming presence even when things turned a little chaotic throughout the day which was deeply appreciated. Micaela is a sweet and easy going soul and she is fantastic at giving directions that turn into great shots no matter how nervous or awkward you might feel with posing. I was brought to tears on each occasion that I received pictures from her because she truly does have that special something that allows her to capture the emotions and magic that are behind all of the pictures. We are so incredibly thankful for her and are so happy that she had such a positive and lasting impact on our entire wedding process - we wouldn't have wanted it any other way! We LOVE Micaela and will be using her over and over and over again!”
