This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

First and foremost, don't be nervous! One of the things my clients tell me most often is how comfortable and at ease they feel throughout their session. My goal is to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience where you can simply focus on being present with one another.

You do not need to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do with your hands—I will guide and direct you every step of the way when needed. At the same time, I believe some of the most meaningful images come from genuine moments that unfold naturally. Rather than placing you in all stiff poses, I'll provide gentle prompts and direction that encourage authentic connection, allowing your personalities and relationship to shine through.

The result is a beautiful balance of timeless, beautifully composed portraits and the candid, heartfelt moments that tell your story. So take a deep breath, trust the process, and know that I'm there to guide you every step of the way.

How do we book?

Booking is easy! Simply fill out my inquiry form, and I'll be in touch soon. We'll chat about your vision, choose a date, and start dreaming up all the fun details for your session. Once your retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved, and the countdown begins! From there, I'll be here to guide you every step of the way and make the entire experience as fun and stress-free as possible.

Can you recommend any good locations?

Absolutely! I have a variety of beautiful locations I love throughout the local area and am always happy to help you find the perfect spot for your session. If you have a location that's sentimental to you or are dreaming of an adventure somewhere new, I'm always down to travel and bring your vision to life. Travel fees may apply for locations outside of my local area.

What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?

Don't worry—I keep a close eye on the weather leading up to every session! If the forecast calls for heavy rain, strong winds, or conditions that would negatively impact your experience or photos, we'll work together to find a new date that works for everyone.

That said, not every cloudy forecast is a bad thing. Some of the most beautiful images are created on overcast days, and a little fog can add a dreamy, romantic feel to your gallery. My priority is always creating the best possible experience and ensuring we have conditions that allow your story to be captured beautifully.
